the lightning thief
percy jackson is a 12 year old boy severely affected by dyslexia and adhd, he is attacked by a math teacher who is "fury" in disguise.
percy is transferred then to a place where children of greek gods are brought up off coast long island. there he cherishes the company of grover and sally his mother. he soon meets annabeth , the daughter of athena and they kindle thick friendship soon after.
soon after succession of events the Poseidon sea god claims percy as his son . the plot follows on how percy , grover and annabeth get together and save percys mother held hostage in the underworld by Hades captured by the mythical creature minotaur. the plot becomes an interesting sequence of black magic , greek mythology and morals. bringing the movie to great heights.
the hunt for the lightning thief begins soon after percy is accused of theft , for which he isn't guilty.
