it depicts the life of n 8 year old alex Pruitt replacing kevin as the lead character. a big time leader of thieves peter beaputre has captured a valuable missile guidance microchip , which he is to send to a terrorist group in north korea.
realizing that they have placed it in a toy remote car , which lands up in the hands of this 8 year old protagonist alex.
alex on account of his exceedingly good performance in the shoveling show has been gifted with the remote controlled car .
alex ill with chicken pox is confined to his bed , left astray by his parents who are away from town.
just by this time the thieves led by beaupetre lands up at alex's house making attempts to sneak in. alex complaints this to the police but they refuse to believe in him as the thieves manage to escape in time.
this perplexes alex and agitates him , he successfully plants a camera on the remote controlled car and records the footage of the thieves sneaking in . by this time they manage to get the hand into the tape and take it away.
he then rushes to a neighbor alice , who ties up with aunt hess and leaves the house door open. alex has the microchip with him and is being chased by the thieves.
by this time alex has armed the house with more booby traps which becomes a trouble to deal with .
alex is chased by the thieves a number of times. until he is cornered by beauptre after he successfully manages to tric the thieves into a frozen pool .
he then scares beapre with a fake gun .
the FBI agents are in a search for the the thieves in order to nab them , their attempt to grab the microchip is to be eventually foiled. the FBI reaches alex's school in search of the microchip.
plot follows the attempts by the FBI to nab the thieves and get the hold of the microchip which is valuable to the nation. the series of action and adventures , with the usual element of hilarity makes home alone a show of its time.
a class of its time home alone brings the magic alive with the way its depicted. its worth watching
