the Hollywood flick talks about the green zone invasion by the Americans in Iraq.
mohammed al rawi the lead character is a army officer hiding in Baghdad, meets his aides and asks them to join the American forces in an act of sly surrender as a tactic measure .
meanwhile Roy miller achieve warrant officer is asked to investigate upon the inputs given by the intelligence on the location of possible weapons of mass destruction . but he learns that the intelligence inputs are not correct and are purposely fed in to promote confusion and hussies. the CIA debunks miller. later they find out that the other locations which were suspected showed up with no signs of any weapon .
miller meets a high ranking official that their search for wmd's in the other locations in the middle east is also foiled.
that is when they decide to shift strategy . miller now encounters a man iraqi in nationality , calling himself freddie who provides him with the exact location of al rawi .
the scene later shifts to the saddam airport baghdad where an iraqi political ahmed zubadi is interrogated by a female journalist with a cia aide by her side. they question about " magellan" who is later revealed to be locked up .
pound stone the CIA official takes on the man has him in the captivity of delta force.
many attempts are made to find out al rawi , who is later seen escaping . the CIA then interrogates the activities of its officers learns about the al rawi escape. freddie kills al rawi in an encounter off the city limits of baghdad.
