it turns out that this tale is a hilarity at its peak story of two passionate but idiotic fishing enthusiasts joe and gus.
joes in his fathers room as a nine year old lights a cigar . gus who's sitting by him accidentally pulls the cigar away and tosses into the metal pipe.
there is unknown to them a world wholesome and full inside the metal pipe, it is set ablaze by their misdemeanors puffing out a huge bellow of smoke that makes them wonder what on earth has happened around them.
their deeds accidentally transports them into a new dimension 30 years later , accidentally this explosion makes their way to the city of new ark by the shade of a lake.
gus is seen graying with his frail body operates a crane for a shipping company . unknowingly he tumbles upon the forbidden controls and drops a pricey shipment onto the shipping office.
gus and joe then jump into a car throttling to their home in florida.
hilarity ensues gus who drives his car laughing away to glory without realizing that he has his job at stake considering his reckless act that cost lives.
they land up into a place wherein there are two houses one of joe and the other of gus.
they are to be back by Thursday for a thanksgiving , told by their wives as they pack off for their fishing tour downtown everglades.
they are warned that they would be killed if not back in time.
the next scene depicts a man in a hotel sharing friendly conversation with joe slips into his pants and reaches out for the car keys. before the waitress observant of the mans misdeed can help, the man flees into the car throttling away to glory.
rest of the plot is a comedy of errors in truest sense that shows the duo having to deal with a car being lost than enjoying their fishing holiday.
